WORLD CUP Dortmund - Cram in the Culture

Dortmund: Cram in the Culture

Dortmund is opening its arms to football fans from all over the globe - special FIFA World Cup events include a fan camp and a football trail taking in the region's most important sites, like Signal Iduna Park. After the match, check out the city's churches and museums, or just relax in the park.

Industrial Past: Zollern II/IV Colliery (Westphalian Industrial Museum)
A reminder of the region's history, the Zollern Colliery was called a modern miracle when it was built. This former industrial site is a fascinating place to visit.

1000 years of History: Medieval Churches
Dortmund boasts four stunning medieval churches- St Peter's, St Mary's, St Reinhold's and the Propstei Church. Each features its own unique treasures, such as the Golden Wonder of Dortmund, consisting of 30 reliefs and 633 oak-carved gilded figures.

Industrial Oasis: Westfalenpark
Home to the 212-metre Florian Tower (one of the world's first revolving restaurants), the huge Westfalenpark, next to the stadium, is a great place to unwind.
